- When you open the app, you are now presented with a screen where you must first tap "Sign in".
- A new web browser window will pop up and prompt you to enter your username and password and then tap "Log in".
- Another web browser window will pop up and you must tap "Authorize Application".
- You will now be at the "Home" screen.
Log out
- From the "Home" screen, tap "Lock".
- In the upper right hand corner, tap "Sign out".
- In the white window pane, tap "Sign out".
- You will now be taken back to the new "Sign in" screen.
Paying a Sale With Cash (App UI)
- From the "Home" screen, tap "New sale".
- Add your item(s) to the sale.
- Tap "Cash" in the lower right hand corner.
- You will now be taken to the new payment screen for "Cash" as shown below.
- At the top of the screen, you will see the section listed below which lists the "Total Due", "Balance", and the "Change".
- Just below that, you will see the window with the amount to be paid and it will automatically be set to the amount owed for the sale in light grey text.
- In this example the amount of the sale is $1.06 and the amount that is automatically entered to be paid by cash is $1.06.
- At the middle of the screen you will see three recommended amounts for payment by cash. In this example they are $1.25, $2.00, and $5.00 based upon the amount owed.
- If you tap one of those three amounts, it will automatically update the payment in the "Amount" field above. It will also update the "Balance" and "Change" fields accordingly.
- You can also use the numeric keypad at the bottom center of the screen. You will enter the amount to be paid by Cash without a decimal point. So entering an amount of $3.00 will be entered as "300".
- You can also use the individual dollar and cents buttons in the lower left hand corner to enter the amount paid by Cash.
- Each time you tap a dollar or cents button, it will increment the amount paid by cash by that amount. If we were to tap the $20 button once, the $5 button once, the $1 button twice, and the 25 Cents button once, the total amount to be paid by cash will total $27.25 as shown below.
- Once you are ready to make the payment by Cash, you can first check the balance owed and change due in the top center window.
- You can then make the payment by Cash by tapping "Done" in either the top center window or the in the bottom right hand corner as shown below.
- Once the payment by Cash has been completed, you will be shown the amount of change due in both the center of the screen and also in the lower right hand corner as shown below.
