[LSR] How to Install the Splashtop SOS app on an iPad (Viewing Only)

  1. Open the "App Store" on the iPad.

  1. Tap in the search bar at the top of the screen.

  1. Type "Splashtop SOS" in the search window and tap "Search" if you are using the on screen keyboard or "Enter" if you have a keyboard connected.

  1.  Tap the download button for the application named "Splashtop SOS".

  1. If you are prompted to enter the credentials for your Apple ID, enter them.
  2. Once the download of the Splashtop SOS app on the iPad has been completed, tap "Open" to start the application.

  1. You will be prompted if you would like to allow access to the microphone in the Splashtop SOS app.  Make your choice and tap the appropriate response button.

  1. You will then be prompted if you would like to allow the Splashtop SOS app to send you notifications.  Make your choice and tap the appropriate response button.

  1. The app will automatically generate a 9 digit code that you will give to the iPOS Support Representative.

  1. Tap "Start Broadcast" in the window named "Screen Broadcast".

  1. You will now see that the broadcast is active.

  1. Navigate to the app on the iPad that you wish to be seen by the iPOS Support Representative.

  1. When you are ready to end the Splashtop SOS session, switch to the Splashtop SOS app and then tap "Disconnect".

  1. Tap "OK" in the window named "Disconnect" to end the session.

  1. The remote connection to the iPad is now ended.
