This article will step you through regenerating the accounting data sync in Lightspeed Accounting or Shogo so the QB Web-Connector can capture POS data during its next sync cycle.
Assumptions
You are using the following applications to sync your POS data to QuickBooks Desktop:
- Lightspeed POS R-Series (LSR)
- Lightspeed Accounting or Shogo. (Since these are the same, we will refer to these as Lightspeed Accounting or LSA)
- QuickBooks Desktop (QB DT)
You have resolved the issue that caused the data to not sync.
You have POS Data that needs synced to QB DT
- Sales & Inventory / CoGS
- Purchase Order(s)
After logging in to your LSA account:
- From the main screen, change the date to the date the data did not sync
- At the bottom, just to the right of the Store, click the '$$ amount of sales' hyperlink for the day

- On the Sales Summary screen, confirm the date is the date the data did not sync
- Click the Accounting (QBD) option which may have a yellow exclamation mark or a red 'x' just to the right of the Accounting(QBD)

- Click the 'Regenerate Accounting' icon just under the store name in the top right (the icon looks like a calculator)

- Click in the box labeled 'Select'.

- Place a check mark in the necessary data box and click the green Go button
- Check All (Sales & Inventory / CoGS, Purchase Orders)
- Sales
- Purchase Orders

This will create a mail bag for the QB Web-Connector to pick up on its next sync.
To force the QB Web-Connector to perform a sync outside its scheduled sync, please review this article.
