Wise POS E Payment Terminal: IP Address

This article documents the steps on locating the IP Address of the Payment Terminal.

Locating the IP Address

In Diagnostics

scroll up by swiping from the bottom of the display toward the top

 locate "Ethernet IP Address" or "Wireless IP Address"

The terminal may have only the Ethernet or WiFi IP Address.

Be sure to note the IP Address in the format xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.  If one or more of the segments has less than 3 numbers, add leading zeros.  In the above example, 192.168.022.102

There is additional network information directly beneath the IP Address.

Exit the Settings menu

Touch "< Back" in the top left above "Diagnostics"

From the Advanced menu option, touch "< Back" in the top left

From the Admin Options, touch "< Back" in the top left and the terminal will reset to the idle screen (Lightspeed logo)
