Ping the Payment Terminal from a Windows POS Station
Note the IP Address of the Payment Terminal. You can find the IP Address in the Diagnostic Menu.
On your PCs Task Bar, click in the Search window
Type cmd
Press Enter
In the Command Prompt window, type ping x.x.x.x (where "x.x.x.x" is the IP Address of the Wise POS E Payment Terminal). Review this article to find the IP address of the Wise POS E Payment Terminal.

Testing communication from LSR to a Wise POS E Payment Terminal
Sign in to your LSR account as an employee with permission to access Settings
In the left menu, select Settings
- In the Settings window, in the Sales section, click Payment Processing
In the Payment Processing window, locate the Wise POS E Payment Terminal in question, click Test connection

Testing Communication from LSX to a Wise POS E Payment Terminal
Log in to your LSX account with a user that has permission to access Settings
Select the register that the payment terminal is paired with.
From the Menu on the left, click "Sell".
Add any item to the sale
A successful communication could reflect the payment terminal working as a customer display
Otherwise, select Pay (or the fast Credit button to the left of Pay)
If you selected Pay, select Lightspeed Payments
Successful communications will result in the payment terminal prompting for payment

If the communication test with the Wise POS E pin pad terminal is not successful, the terminal will not activate and you will receive the below notification.
