Important Update: iPOS Support Policy (Windows 10 and Discontinued Software)

iPOS is updating our support policy, in alignment with the End of Support for Windows 10. iPOS will no longer provide support for users operating on Windows 10 or using discontinued software/products. 

Effective September 30, 2025, iPOS will no longer offer the following services:

• Offsite Backup Services for all users.*
• Bitdefender Internet Security Services for Windows 10 users**

Effective October 15, 2025, iPOS will no longer offer the following services:

• Support of a POS system/network connected to any Windows 10 (or prior Windows version) computers 
• Support/installation of QuickBooks (QB) Point of Sale on any operating system
• Support/installation of discontinued QB Financial Desktop on any operating system

* Offsite Backup will no longer be offered by iPOS and will be uninstalled on 9/30/25, regardless of Windows operating system. Customers should make alternate plans for backing up data. We will be reaching out to affected customers to confirm the uninstallation. 

** Customers who have not upgraded to Windows 11 will have iPOS’s Bitdefender services uninstalled on 9/30/25 and should make alternate plans for internet security software. We will be reaching out to affected customers to confirm the uninstallation. 

iPOS is committed to being the company you turn to for support. Part of that commitment includes guiding you toward PCI compliance and security. Any installed, unsupported software on your POS network places you outside of the PCI scope.

Another key component to the level of support iPOS provides is our ability to receive proper support from the software manufacturer when necessary - this is not possible for unsupported products.
