How to Close Cayan (Global Payments) Account and Return Terminals

These requests can only be made by phone. To request account closure / return equipment:

• Provide agent with MID and / or phone number. 
• Provide the serial number and model number of each terminal. 
• Provide a physical address (business preferred, home if not possible - NO PO BOX)
• Global payments will mail the customer a box and return label
• The customer is to return the equipment in the provided box with the return label
• After receiving the equipment back, it will take 2-3 business days for the account to close
  • The customer is liable for the monthly fees until the account is closed.
  • If they are still under contract with the lease device, the customer is liable to early termination fees
    • Early termination fees: $400 if in the first year of contract or $250 if in second or third year of contract. Client may choose to let their contract run out, depending on the remaining months and the minimum monthly fee that would be imposed.
